Martha's Vineyard

Martha's Vineyard is one of our favorite places to sail. The harbors on the east side are a bit busy, but the up side is there are lots of places to visit and eat. On the western end is Menemsha, for a more tranquil visit. For a five dollar, one day bus pass, you can travel between 6 towns on the island, and up to Gay Head Light. This is the next best way to get around if you don't have a bicycle. Lisa likes the gingerbread cottage section of Oak Bluff. There are lots of moorings in the harbor at Oak Bluff, pumpout boat, public showers, restaurants, and noise (lots of power boaters running over from Falmouth in the evenings for eats and cocktails.)
